last night at the private view of Rod Harman’s wonderful exhibition ‘Skin Deep’ at the Blackshed Gallery, Russet Farm, Robertsbridge , TN32 5NG

I am thrilled to spend time with my former tutor, the irrepressible Rod Harman from Hastings school of Art and technology who’s encouragement, 36 years ago probably set me on the road to be a painter, he saw something in me I didn’t even recognise yet and I’m so grateful for his generous support and inspiring teaching ; so glad I went to this beautiful show, in the stunning space and setting . Thank you to Kenton Lowe the gallery owner for taking this photograph .
