Pretty much new favourite interior shot !!
This painting ‘Reclaimed’ 50 x 100cm looks amazing against such a powerful orange wall -every aspect of this house connects you to nature, so it’s absolutely beautiful we are open again today 11 till 6 pm and both days next weekend – I am there every day showing with 11 other artists- in my element !

Wonderful long weekend at The Dynamite Art Fair – Downstairs Brixton – showing with wonderful @susanne.winter and an amazing group of fellow exhibitors – Brixton 1-3rd April 2022
Beautiful sustainable Gallery and shop all December 13 Trafalgar Street Brighton BN1 4EQ – I spent the day there yesterday it is such an inspiring place!!
The shop window is a magical room set with an upcycled plastic bottle tree
I have four paintings here all made on reclaimed canvases from charity shops – this on ‘The Watermeadows’ is in the window – thrillingly!!

This painting is pat of a pair made for the window of Gallery 40 in Brighton – and looked rather lush and rain forest inviting as you approached from the top of the road.
The title refers to the refreshing relief that can come with rainfall after humid days or tears falling after emotion has been felt but not expressed – sometimes unexpected – potentially uncomfortable but ultimately cleansing – many layers – pretty optimistic in the end – available with me to be viewed at my studio – contact me at info@katescottpaintings.com
It’s sister painting ‘After I Swam’ will be exhibited at the ‘Out Of The Blue’ Exhibition Regency Town House 13 Brunswick Square, Hove, BN3 1EH where I am so proud to be showing with 20 other artists in this amazing historical building. It will be wonderful – preview 7-9pm Thursday 4th November
