@kathandcompany Gallery in Twickenham London – one weekend only unfortunately but I managed to catch her – must be 30 years since we last met – and it was as if we’d seen each other the week before.
We were at the same 6th form college in Brighton, and then were amongst the very few art students who went to Hastings College of Art and Technology for our foundation course, both disappointed at first not to go to Brighton, it actually became the most positive and influential accident of fate for us both, a wonderful course, incredible teachers, including legendary Rod Harman, unique life long friendships made and inspirational learnings.
Freddie is now a professor at the Royal College of Art and makes totally thought provoking feminist mixed media pieces that need to be seen in the flesh to be appreciated – I am so honoured to have been able to be in contact again – the gallery is amazing and is hosting 12 artists over 12 weeks bookable online http://www.newartathome.co.uk

Just a little image of ‘Underwater Flow’ to show scale – actual painting acrylic on board is 15 x 15 cm – but box framed it is 22.5 x22.5 cm – details on the website
In the studio, themes develop – sweeping skies – being connected, enveloped by nature, favourite feeling.
just came across this great photograph of a painting bought by a very stylish friend and collector – amazing to see how well it works against the deep background 90x90cm untitled, acrylic on canvas.
