I am so pleased to have my work exhibited alongside so many talented artists and makers this week at Sullington Manor Farm, West Sussex, it’s a beautiful location set in divine country side with a very good cafe in site – open 10.00-16.00 every day until 23rd October
I am so excited to be part of this group show -with 11 other artists and makers in this amazing modernist home set in a beautiful garden in Sussex countryside.
There will be painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, wooden assemblage and jewellery watch this space for more information
Couldn’t resist posting this I’ve been updating my website and saw it in my photographs of interiors – owned by a lovely collector who normally chooses much larger pieces – nestling in their study – Sussex Uk

And just letting you know my Instagram account kate_scott_paintings is now safely back with me – apologies again to anybody who received DM messages up until 23rd March – I am very grateful to say all is now well. I am having a slower paced week before moving on to last few weeks of planning for the Artists Open Houses in May.
I am getting ready right now for The Dynamite Art Fair this Friday Saturday and Sunday 1-3rd April – 10am-5pm in Brixton London – booth 15 venue – very near Brixton Underground Station
I have had a very stressful 10 days working on regaining my Instagram account which has been hacked, it’s very difficult to explain how hard it is to know that unauthorised content is being posted, and private messages sent from someone who is not me – Please accept my apologies for any strange DM’s you may have received in this period – I am working on it, in the meantime you can visit @five_at_no1_rigden_road to https://www.instagram.com/p/CahZ-FJISse/?utm_medium=copy_link see what will be coming up in the pop up I am hosting this year – one weekend in May 20th-22nd – very exciting !!!

Here I am standing outside @gallery40 central Brighton, UK, in October 2021. We were about half way through a happy week during the exhibition ‘Elemental’ with the sculptor Jo Delafons.
This shows the easy bit, when you’ve done all the admin, emailing, label printing, hanging, curating , preview planning and you just have to turn up and receive all the lovely visitors and friends and patrons – which makes it all worth while; the connecting is incredible and grateful making.
So I am at the very early stages of planning for this years shows – so far three collaborations two with @artistsopenhouses during Brighton Festival in May , and one later in the year in Storrington, Sussex.
I will be posting as I make progress mainly on my Instagram page @kate_scott_paintings and doing my best to make time for my own practice in the studio while loving the creative process of working with other artists to bring an exhibition together
Let me know if you would like to be invited to the shows when we are ready to send out invites
