Inspired by the transitions in the light I encounter during daily walks in nature, the feelings this evokes, and the memories attached; my response to the spaces I pass through – evening and daytime and the comfort I feel, to be able to escape there – to the sea, the hills or the park. Most of these paintings were exhibited during this year’s Brighton Artist’s Open Houses, details in the exhibitions page.
