I met Cath while exhibiting at Oakbank last year, fell in love with her work and we had an instant artistic meeting of minds.
So we are excited to co-curate this exhibition of painting and assemblage sculpture at gallery 19a, presenting the curiously synergetic dialogues within our work.
We both explore materials, process, intention and chance, noticing an emergence and resonance within our practice.
The work encourages a recognition of the unforeseen and elusive and arrives at a point of connection that seems to come from nowhere, yet everywhere.

Visiting – we should both be at the gallery as many days as possible, but if you want to make sure that you will see us, you can always send me an email at info@katescottpaintings.com to make sure I will be there -I am really excited to see how our work sits together, and hopes to see some of you if you can visit, open Frid 27th Feb – Tues 3rd March 10am- 5pm .
