No 1 Rigden Road is excited to be returning as part of the Hove Arts trail, for
Artists Open Houses 2025. Kate Scott, contemporary painter opens her home,
garden, and studio for four days to exhibit with 4 unique and established artists.
Both Emma’s jewellery and Davina’s stone carvings evoke ancient female forms
which work beautifully in contrast to Kate’s layered and energetic paintings
and the deep lustrous colour palette of Ashdown Pottery’s table ware and
sculptural vessels. Our intention is to create a rich but calm atmosphere
throughout the space, the garden will also be open, and there will be
refreshments, with proceeds going to the Martlets Hospices.
